The trip in short
Five nights in Orlando, so a day at the pool fits in between Disney World and Universal. Then to the coast: at Kennedy Space Center you stand under a real Saturn V, and with luck you watch a launch from Cocoa Beach. By way of Miami Beach you drive the Overseas Highway to Key West, where kids watch the street performers at Mallory Square. On the way back you spot alligators from an airboat in the Everglades, and the trip ends hunting for shells on the beaches near St. Pete.
